What is The Forest Trail
I’ve always idealised forests. I think it’s the escapism they provide. The ability to break free of reality’s shackles, the confines of concrete, and immerse oneself in nature. These days reconnecting with life feels more like a chore than a blessing. We spend our days in free motion. Moving from one task to the next droning reality out with constant stimulation. When was the last time any of us stopped and actually looked around. At this world, this life, this experience. All the unanswered questions.
Why are we here? What is it for?
While I don’t pretend to have the answers to existentialism, this personally is a step in breaking away from the routine and sheer avoidance of the topic all together. I created this space to explore topics of personal interest. Philosophy, psychology, culture and other abstract observations I find worthy of curiosity.
Beyond that. I want to inspire creative thought. I want you to seek your own forest. For me writing is expression. But for you it may be its own divergent art. Life is too short to let curiosity sit idle. The gift of intelligence too wonderful.
I hope you enjoy this space.
